Day 1 · Join a studio session in Urumqi. Ask which dishes are on the menu before choosing a session.
Keep a two-to-four-hour block for the studio visit, preparation and cooking rather than adding a distant excursion immediately afterwards. Ask which dishes are taught, whether you cook yourself or watch a demonstration, and whether ingredients, translation and the meal are part of the session.
